Dear Leigh,
Many thanks for your information re 1947 match.
I saw a game at Abertillery at about that time against a touring team which I thought was a South African 15. The score was 3-6 and the tourists looked to be glad the game was over, they looked Kerry Packered as they came off.
Do you know if the Boks play a combined team about the same time, i.e. between 1946 and 1949? I'm sure that a South African player called Oki Gefin (I don't know if that is the correct spelling) played in that game.
Once again many thanks for the reply. I would really like to know the names of any Boks team that did tour around that time.
Regards.
