who are the committe in abertillery youth section to give mark dew who has done the young boys proud ant they the same with them daffyd and beefy there summet wrong somwhere SACK THE COMMITTEE

put a post on here last night with the commitee sacking mark dew and beefy not as i stated daffyd as well i apolagise for that but those youngers did abertillery pround with mark manager and the coches NOW CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG HOW CAN THEY SACK ANYONE THAT DOESN.T GET PAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so now i think its time to look at the COMMITEE ITS ABOUT TIME THEY WAS SORTED ABERTILLERY YOUTH ARE GOING ON TOUR NOW AND THE COMMITTEE TRIED TO STOP THEM GOING BUT THE YOUTHS DID THAT THEMSELVES AND THEY ARE GOING NOTHING TO DO WITH ABERTILLERY RUGBY SO START GETTING RID OF THEM

My understanding of the situation is that the coaches resigned rather than were sacked because they didnt agree with what the senior team thought a youth team was there for!!! Two sides to every story. Regarding the tour, under WRU guidlines no team can tour without prior agreement from the union. Obviously if it has been booked in a players name there is nothing tht can be done. Im sure the committee only wanted to ensure that things had been done through the correct channels.

As the main headlines state on the youth matter. The youth managament did not step down they were forced out off there position by the officers of the club if they can not state the truth about what really happened at the meeting on monday they should not put it as a headline. On saturday at 12:30pm when Mark Dew and Craig Blunsdon arrived at the Penndragon it was brought to there attention by one of there players that he had been approched by Martin Edwards, Keith Evans and Paul Rossiter and blackmailed into playing for the senior team after he was told that the very existance of the club was on his head. Mark and Craig returned from Talywain and asked the officers could they speak with them that evening to clear a few issues about youth players playing for the senior team to which they refussed and said they would have a meeting monday. The officers of the club must have spoke prior to the meeting on monday it was obvioues that they made their minds up about the outcome

Craig said to Martin Edwards "if you dont want me here just say" to which Martin replied "Yes thats what i want" to which Mark Dew replies "Well thats me gone to" and martin nodded his head.

Abertillery youth have been made scapegoats for Abertillery RFC incompetence. And thats the truth.

at last the truth the truth will always stand you didn.t have to try to think who it was i guessed same as a lot of people that it had to be one of the rossiters always been the same

I'm sure like me, you will all agree, that Craig Blunsdon & Mark Rossiter were exceptional players and along with Mark Dew have all been loyal to Abertillery & generous with their time, which has in turn led to the success of the youth team. Is history starting to repeat itself and is this likely to lead to another demise of the newly formed club, leaving Abertillery/Blaenau Gwent without a Team yet again!! As a life member of the club, I hope fellow members will join me at the AGM to find out the truth of what is really happening behind the scenes, which has led to the loss of these three fine servants of Abertillery Blaenau Gwent RFC!

Im sure that all of the committee will welcome the attendance of ALL members at the AGM to stand against them and take control of the club.

What a shambles ! i dont know whats gone on but it needs sorting asap,the ones that i feel for are those youngsters that play in the youth team they dont deserve this, there are some quality players in that team as ive watched them play quite a few times over the last few season's and are a credit to beefy,mark and dewi and its abertillery bg on the whole that are going to loose out.I spoke to two of the youth players since this upset and as far as they know abertillery bg youth is now history so i would think the whole team are thinking the same and looking to join new clubs as we speak.Who ever is responsible for this mess you have done a good job...HERE WE GO AGAIN !!

It seems that many are questioning the integrity of our 'tiny' senior committee.

So you question the time we spend trying to keep Abertillery BG intact?

Well, I'm sure that we all would welcome some support as we've continually requested each AGM since Abertillery BG was formed - if people don't soon put up they should shut up as personally i've just about had enough of the abuse and strongly considering my position in the club as secretary - someone will then have to offer their time or the club will fold and that includes the youth team as well!

An irate secretary!

I totally understand how your feeling sec and i certainly don't question anyone on the committee.Im just dissappointed at the unrest at the moment and as we all know in any sport that if the camp is not a happy camp its not good for results in either the youth or the senior team.
