As we fight off relegation it looks like two from three or maybe four that are in the bottom four now will go down

So i can not belive that we have swap our fixture with newport HSOB one of the teams in the relegation battle

And we now play newport HSOB down there on the last day of the season this is giving the advantage to the opposition

If you have ever seen a eight pointer game this is one of them

We should swap this game back and try and attract a large partisan crowd down the park

We could give away free places to a child who brings an paying adult with them or something like that (i will let the committee think of some ideas) that might bring in a big partisan crowd

I think we will be safe by the last game of the season.  Confused By playing NHSOB at home earlier in the season gives a good oppurtunity to gain points and confidence. Laughing

Obviously this would be the ideal situation which would be favourable to a last game of the season decider at home which would put a huge amount a pressure on the team. If the last game of the season means beating NHSOB down there then so be it. With the players we have along with the couple of recent signings we have plently to hold our own in this league.

A little bit of confidence please!!!    Very Happy Anyway we should encourage big crowds at very home game not just last day deciders!

Scott

I dont think we should be thinking of relegation at the moment as aber/bg have'nt even reached half way through the season,as scott mentioned i think we will be ok at the end as the team are starting to play better and getting stronger but its not going to be easy.                                                                                                                                                                                                               I was thinking same as you leigh that NHSOB is a must win game as they are struggling at the foot of the table but if you look at latest league results you will find NHSOB beat pill harriers last week so they are improving, its gonna be interesting from here on in and im looking forward to it.

As relegation stares us in the face I just wondering if Scott Rossiter and our kid are just starting to think about it (releigation that is). After my earlier posting in January I was informed by them not to worry about relegation and we would be safe by the time we played Newport HSOB.
We should have been thinking about the possibility of relegation and building a team with a couple of mature players before the start of the season. Anyway what is done is done stay up or go down next season I think we need a couple of old heads to steady the ship. So with two games left lets hope we can re-produce the form that we showed against Croesyceiliog on the Park. I will be looking with anticipation for two good results.

Relegation is definately on the cards after Saturday when you consider Cwmbran winning as well.
Dont see the point in moaning about not having mature players with 2 games left. The team is very capable of winning the last two games if everybody performs at 100%. Still 6 points from 2 games should be enough to finish above Cwmbran on points difference, 7 points would guarantee safety. Winning the 2 remaining games could mean we finish above Gwernyfed in 8th place!!!
