Hello all

Just a quick line to say how well the lads played today and on the balance of things thought they edged it and should have won.Having said that and in fairness to our visitors, Gwynhyfryd scored on each visit to our 22 and thats what matters. They seemed to be more clinical in that aspect and it told in the final result.Does make me wonder though especially when they were out scrumaged and out done by our well contested line outs. They did however, posses a well organised counter ruck.

Nonetheless the boys did very well and a huge mention to the back row and my man of the match in Greg Doofy Lane, he was everywhere.

Oh for a commanding outside half..........ho hum eh??!!................... Rolling Eyes

Bye for now

Smile Hi Paul, Nice to hear from you after such a long time.

You played for us against Risca and that's the last time I saw you. Would you like to enlarge on that?

I believe Gareth's best position is inside centre, although he has certain attributes at fly-half. What Gareth needs more than anything is encouragement. He is a " confidence player " and thrives when things are going right for him during a game.

Are your silky skills going to grace the Park again?

I agree with Graham, Gareth knows himself when he has had a poor game and needs no one to get on his back, recently however has seen a general marked improvement in his performances, yes in hindsight a kick for the corner may have been a better option but in the heat of battle!

In Welsh rugby generally the outside half is always going to be the hero or villain, just ask Stephen Jones. Lets be positive and next time out Gareth could just as easily make the winning break or positional kick.

Lets keep the negatives out and the positives in, promotion is still within our grasp lets go for it.   Wink

Even a certain mature English outside half can serve up duff game but I agree, come on Gareth, give it go ,you certainly have been playing well on the times I have managed to get down to The Park.
Keep positive - we are all behind you.
