Well done boys!A well deserved win today boys. Playing with 14 men for most of the second half I thought we rose to the challenge superbly. Today we looked like a real team - willing to fight, literally, for the cause and I'm sure if we show the same spirit in the games to come we'll be safe this season.
HSOB home next, come on boys and COME ON ABER!!!!

Straight red card for second row, kick made contact with opponents head. Did not look deliberate, no protest from New Tredegar players, but letter of the law applied I guess. Dug in well to hold out for the win.

We shouldn't forget the kicking of young Chris Stevens, 100% record and seventeen points, five penalty goals and a conversion. His kicking out of hand wasn't half bad either.
Chris is the first to admit that his form with the boot hasn't been the best in recent weeks but thank goodness yesterday saw his kicking prowess return.

Dont know if anyone has noticed yet but in the wales on sunday this morning they have made a mistake, it says that tred won and not us. Also we are bottom of the table

Great paper Wales on Sunday  - their table is all to cock. The correct table as far as we work out is now up on the front page of the main site. If we can see off Newport HSOB a week Wednesday, then we should be above Cwmbran as well.
The side showed a lot of character yesterday - well done to all and if we can tighten up the first time tackles, we can proceed up the table and be safe to build on next year. Keep it going lads!
