Abertillery BG make final of Trinant 7sAfter playing some very good rugby we found ourselves up against the old rivals Blaina in the final of the Trinant 7s, having lost 3 of the initial squad to minor injuries the lads went out and gave a very good account of themselves, and in the end it was probably only the fact that Blaina had some more expeirenced players on the park that got them the 12 nil win. Not to worry some signs of the future look very bright with the average age of the 7s squad being around 21. Some of the lads are looking very sharpe. Which is encouraging for the forthcoming season. Well done to all that were involved.
