Abertillery Youth NewsletterThis is a message from Paul Rossiter
The youth side will be running this current season. We have 25 players registered. Training is still at Abertillery Park every Tuesday and Thursday evening 6pm start.
We have 16 fixtures arranged for the season and are at the moment still arranging more.
If you are 16 before September 1st 2009 come along and give it a go. If you are 19 before September 1st 2009 you are too old for youth rugby, try senior rugby.
For all you rugby people out there this teams future is the life blood of the teams in this town. If you could help in any way please contact Paul Rossiter 01495 217538.

Once again stupid remarks from people who know no better are littering our site - a needless distraction particularly when people are trying to keep Abertillery supporters in the loop.
In response to the welshdragan? (strange spelling) Abertillery committee met with Blaina not looking for players but for possible coaches, particularly as Blaina had shown interest in running a youth team this season.
It seems however that a lot of local teams want the product of the Abertillery Youth team without the resultant financial costs. At Abertillery at least we try to look after the local youngsters and give a rugby outlet.
Maybe people should check there facts before offering their unfounded opinions, maybe they should also use their own names and not an alterego to hide behind then we can enter into a proper debate!

Dear Mr. Welsh Dragan (?) - sic - it is a shame you see fit to litter the the discussion forum with ill informed and and basely worded comments.
You should also try and give some reasons for your comments, refrain from such poor language and stop hiding behind a "nom de plume" but put your real name on your communication.
The club would welcome constructive comments but not silly, rather juvenile comments such as yours.
