congratulations Well done to the coaches and team on last Saturday's result.
It was a case of winning " ugly " The referee however did not help as he appeared whistle mad.
Is it correct that Nantyglo achieved 10 points from their fixtures with Talywain ?

Talywain points.Graham, according to the WRU website Nantyglo, Risca and Llandaff accumulated 10 pts and Rhiwbina 9 pts against Talywain. If Talywain fail to complete their fixtures then only Nantyglo could overtake us. They could get to 69 points maximum if they win their three remaining fixtures with bonus points.
If we win with bonus points on saturday then we are promoted. Not something we would have thought likely after losing at Rhiwbina!!
All credit to the coaches and players to come back so well after that one.

Bonus pointsLooking forward to it. It will be interesting to see how the tables would look if bonus points were not awarded.

As I understand it, Talywain have indeed withdrawn and it now requires the WRU regulations committee to sit to decide on how to deal with the matter. Clearly the fairest way would be to expunge their record and deduct points accordingly otherwise we will be disadvanatged not having played them yet.
Click here - http://www.abertillery-rfc.co.uk/hypotheticaltable.html to see how the table would look if the record is expunged - essentially we would just need to beat Abercarn on Saturday to go up.
