its a win

Well done team ! It may not of been easy on the eye to watch but at the moment that's not what we're after.it's a win and that's all that matter's and that'll do for me,after blaenavon next week in the cup its newport hsob in the league which we must look to take full advantage of.

p.s where was john price yesterday ?

Congratulations to the boys on a hard fought victory yesterday. It wasn't easy on the eye as you say but no-one could fault the effort from either side to be honest. I thought we just shaded it and deserved the win although it didn't look as if it was coming.

Our scrum was excellent yesterday for most of the game, better than most of this season, although I think we would benefit from a more structured line-out rather than the somewhat rushed ones we tend to do - we have very good line-out jumpers in Doof and Adam C. Interestingly the referee's assessor though exactly that as well.

Well done to Matthew Phelps for spotting the gap for the try as the Cwmbran fringe defence fanned out. Well done to Milo for a great tackle on their wing which stopped them taking the lead.

Hopefully this result will give the team back its confidence - we have some great youngsters and it's a steep learning curve this year - and once that returns in full so will the style of rugby and more consistsnt performances. We are off the bottom and the only way hopefully is up!

As everyone says by no means a classic game of rugby but these games come along every so often and they are a must win situation.
Congratulations to the team who just would not surrender and gave their all.
It just shows what a great heart the the team has and as the match report says it was a win and lifted us off the bottom of the table and what better Christmas present could we all have as Aber supporters.
Well done lads and having now put the brake on a series of defeats we go on to win a few more.
Keep it going Aber and come on supporters cheer on the team

Congratulations to the team for what sounds a very hard-fought victory.
This may encourage the squad to more success over the next few weeks.

A win is a win is a win! It doesn't always have to be pretty.

WELL DONE THE GREEN 'n' WHITES!

ABERTILLERY WIN

It was good to see that we had won on saturday It was the first thing i did when i got in on saturday evening

It was also good to see that we were of the bottom of the table and out of the relegation zone you can see tables within the table it looks like it will be 2 from the bottom 3 that will get relegated

There is a 8 pointer next week against Newport HSOB maybe with the squad being thin on the ground we might have to rest some of the better players just before we play a team down the bottom like our selves

Anyway best of luck for the rest of the season
