Law Changes - next season

My sons have just informed me that the RFU have advised all their member clubs that the new laws take effect for next season.
I assume the WRU have done the same and we will be playing under the new laws - should make for some interesting debate on refereeing decisions next year!
Why is it that rugby always seems to change the laws?
Don't see it happenening for soccer but then us "rugger chaps" must be really clever to cope with these changes!
A Phd anyone on the laws?

Ex-chariman has a PhD but I think he just uses it to offer a better class of advice to the men in the middle  Very Happy

You are right, not forgetting  his dulcet tones and erudite, shimmering prose.
I think Dr D. is going to have to  hold a dunce's class for me on the new rules - not that my lack of knowledge will in anyway stop me from advising the man in the muddle, sorry, sorry I mean middle.
All advice given in the best possible taste of course to the advantage of the winning team by which I mean Aber!!
