Abertillery won a hard fought derby game 16 points to 0.

I will leave the match reporting to the David. Sufficient to say Gwernyfed beat Nantyglo( no bonus points for either side ) This makes the situation at the top of the table as follows; Gweryfed 36pts, Nantyglo and Aber tied with 33pts each. Interesting!!

A hard fought deserved win against opponents who were always going to be up for it against us. The bonus points system does us no favours with many seeing us as the team to topple because of tradition as well as lots of local derbies - we would be second now whilst Rhiwbina's position and that of Risca for example is dependent on their bonus points they have gathered.

I think the system is wrong - you should be rewarded for winning or drawing alone. We (or Gwernyfed, Nantyglo etc ) could win all our games from now on in and still not go up, which is a nonsense.
