Supporter celebrationsJust want to add my own congratulations (in no particular order) to the hard-working members of the committee, the coaching staff and the magnificent squad of players we have at the club. The brand of rugby we played for most of the time was superb but it is built on dog, organisation and sound defence as much as the undoubted attacking flair. There have been times when I thought we were scoring tries almost at will in recent months, and certainly the fitness we showed was the best in the division. In one or two matches recently I have honestly thought that we looked like scoring a try a minute at the end and you find yourself begging the ref to allow abit more injury time.
Like all supporters I would relish the chance to celebrate again with the team and wondered whether there would be any chance of a parallel event the night of the club dinner. Perhaps there would be a way of the supporters joining the players and dinner guests for drinks after the end of the formal part of the evening. I for one would not mind paying a few quid for a buffet early evening for example...
Any thoughts anyone?
