Latest result this evening suits us it seems. Risca coming up on the rails have now overtaken Rhiwbina but may have left their run too late in the day to grab second spot.

Understand off the Chairman who attended the game that Risca won 27-7 also gained a bonus point.
When adding this to the WRU table this would give 15 bonus points not 13 as shown on our table and a grand total of 59 points, 2 less than us but we have two matches in hand. |

The score was not 27-7 but 22-7 as we correctly recorded and as confirmed on the Risca website. I will have to take the Chairman's word on the bonus point but seeing how his maths are dodgy............
Here's an interesting scenario:
If Talywain's record does get expunged before Saturday, then if we were to win on Saturday with a bonus point, Gwernyfed beat Nantyglo, Risca beat Llandaff and the Ironsides beat Rhiwbina with none of the sides losing gaining a bonus point, we would be promoted. |

Hi All
Talwain failed to show up at the ironsides on tuesday just gone. Risca have already played them twice. So if Talwain fail to complete there 6 remaining fixtures risca would also be about 10 points light this would put us basically 12 points in front of all our rivals as we are the only one not to play Talwain so 1 win could clinch it regardless of other results |
