During the last few years when Paul.R. has been in charge our team has always competed with commitment and passion. It did not seem present in our last league match. This however, will be rectified I'm sure by the time we play St Joseph's.

There is however a underlaying weakness which is sometimes hidden by individuals producing match winning performances. Firstly we lack a game controlling flyhalf, albeit the present incumbents have skills in other areas.
Secondly our lack of weight in the second row is preventing us from locking out the scrums. Again it must be stated that Greg and Co. have good jumping and excellent all round skills. I suppose with Lee and Jon Price seemingly available the right combination can do much to resolve this.

Looking forward to a good result Saturday.C'mon Aber.

recent poor results are down to recent poor performances - simple.

Lets not get on the back of the current o/half Chris as he as bags of ability. If games are not going well there are a few well experienced players on the pitch who should step and take control. Chris should carry on playing the game to his strengths. Second rows are a little light but how many line-outs do the win/steel? both seconds rows cover as much ground as the back row which is what we need with the type of game we play. Every team has game winners and every team has 15 players!! so these individuals producing game winning performance are on the back of the effort of the team. the biggest problem i feel is that the team is a little to honest and expects the referees to referee correctly which isnt always going to happen so dont moan on the field short it out as a team.

All the team need to do is consentrate on performing. When all 15 perform to the best of their ability wins will come. Im sure the team will win well on Saturday to put a smile on my old man`s face Smile

I dont think anybody is having ago, at any player in particular, but perhaps, decisions made on the field of play. There is a time to run and to kick, but we seem to run everything at the moment, lets go back to basics, and the flaire will come back automatically. Also well done to the youth last night plenty of fight and spirit the results will come keep it going boys.
