he can add this award to his world record of kicking 39 drop goals in one season while playing for thurrock and eastern counties in 1978 taking the record from les cusworth (27) of england fame
when he was 27 england picked him to play for there under 23s but it did not go down well at HQ when he told them he was welsh and 27
Ralph played for abertillery from 1967/1971 and had one of the best side steps around at the time and was a great sevant to abertillery
